The draw
Every card goes to one wallet drawn from the Top 100 holders. Odds follow balance. The seed is a Solana blockhash nobody knows when the snapshot is taken, and every draw publishes a receipt you can recompute.
Who is in it
Right after the rip show, the draw reads every $POKEPACKS token account on chain and adds up each wallet's balance. These never count:
- Program accounts: the bonding curve, the PumpSwap pool and any other address a program controls. Nobody holds a key to them.
- The team: the creator wallet, the Pack Vault and any other excluded wallet in the site config.
- Burn addresses.
The rest are sorted by balance, largest first, and the top 100 make the snapshot. If fewer than 100 wallets qualify, all of them are in.
Hold in a wallet you control. Tokens on an exchange sit in the exchange's wallet.
Odds
On each card, your odds are your balance divided by the total balance of the snapshot. Each card is a separate pick, so one wallet can win several. The Top 100 table on the home page shows each wallet's odds live.
Why splitting a bag does nothing
Odds follow balance, not wallet count. Two wallets with half a bag each have the same chance as one wallet with all of it. Splitting can only hurt: a half below the entry line drops out.
The seed
The draw records the slot of its snapshot, then waits for the first block at least 75 slots later, about 30 seconds. That block's hash is the seed. Nobody can know it when the snapshot is fixed, and anyone can look it up afterwards.
The rule
snapshotHash = sha256(JSON of [[wallet, rawBalance], ...]) // hex
for card i = 0, 1, 2, ...
h = sha256(seedBytes ‖ snapshotHash ‖ uint32_be(i)) // seedBytes: the blockhash, base58 decoded
r = h mod (sum of the raw balances)
winner = the wallet whose stretch of balance holds r,
with the snapshot balances laid end to end
Cards go out most valuable first: the first pick gets the card with the highest insured value, the second pick the next one, and so on. Only cards opened at a rip show are drawn.
Check a receipt
Every draw publishes a receipt at /api/receipt?drop=<time>. The drop log links each one. It holds the full snapshot, the snapshot slot and hash, the seed block and its hash, and the winners. The checker below downloads a receipt and recomputes the winners in your browser with the same rule.
To check the seed, open the seed block on Solscan (the checker links it) and compare its hash. To check the snapshot, spot check a few wallets: an explorer shows each one's balance at the snapshot slot.
Receipts from before 4 October 2026 used an older rule, equal odds without repeats (weighting uniform). The checker handles both.
