Fees and the split
Every trade pays a 3% creator fee. The creator wallet claims it and splits it three ways: 50% packs, 10% liquidity, 40% ops. The Economy page shows it live.
The creator fee
On pump.fun, a coin paired with something other than SOL or USDC can set its own creator fee, up to 3%, when it is created. $POKEPACKS is paired with CARDS, the Collector Crypt token, and set 3%. It applies to every buy and sell, on the bonding curve and in the pool after graduation. After launch the site reads the rate from chain.
Two wallets
- The creator wallet launched the coin, so pump.fun pays it every fee. Once a day it claims the fees, swaps the packs share to USDC and sends that USDC to the vault. The liquidity and ops shares stay in it.
- The Pack Vault buys the packs, holds the cards until the draw and sends them to the winners. It only ever holds pack money, the cards and a little SOL for fees.
Both addresses are on the Transparency page, and neither can win a card. There is no on chain fee sharing: the split happens by hand after each claim, in public transactions.
The split
| Share | Of each claim | What it pays for |
|---|---|---|
| Packs | 50% | The $25 packs on Collector Crypt. Every card goes to a holder. |
| Liquidity | 10% | Added to the pool. Deeper liquidity means less slippage, more volume and more fees. |
| Ops | 40% | The stream, the daily draw and building the product. |
The pot
The pot is what the next buy spends:
pot = USDC in the Pack Vault
+ 50% of the fees not yet claimed
+ 50% of fees already claimed but not yet swapped and sent over
- Fees not yet claimed are read from pump.fun's creator vault accounts, in CARDS, and valued at the Jupiter price.
- USDC in the Pack Vault is pack money: the packs share sent over at the buy, or left over from earlier days. The SOL there pays for transactions.
- Claimed fees sit in the creator wallet, unsplit, between the claim and the swap: the site reads that wallet too, so the pot keeps counting that money the whole way through, not only once it lands as USDC in the Pack Vault.
- The pot is counted in $25 packs. On a big day the vault can buy bigger ones ($50, $100 or $250) so the rip show stays short. What is left under one pack rolls over.
The site refreshes the pot about every 15 seconds.
The swap
Collector Crypt sells packs for USDC. Before claiming, the operator reads the swap amount on the site (the packs share of the unclaimed CARDS), then claims in the creator wallet, swaps that much on Jupiter and sends the USDC to the Pack Vault. Prices move, so the pack count can land a little off the estimate.
